Individual Therapy
Individualized Guidance
Individual therapy can be a great addition to group therapy or a stand-alone treatment. These sessions provide an opportunity for guidance that is specific to the client and their issues. This one-on-one attention allows for focusing on the client alone without any other clients or issues coming up during a session.
Additionally, some clients have issues that are sensitive in nature and they aren’t ready to discuss them in a group setting. Some people can use substances as a way to cope with trauma and while there is group trauma therapy, some people need an individual setting to start the coping process.
